It wasn’t a complete surprise to read this week that Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris was buying up parcels on an island in the Florida Keys. How he intends to turn his island rights into a business proposition, if at all, remains to be seen.

Bass Pro Shops has returned to the video game arena with “Bass Pro Shops: The Hunt” for the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360. The game is a hunting-themed follow-up to the retailer’s fishing-themed “Bass Pro Shops: The Strike,” released in October.

According to an article from Fox News, it seems Bass Pro Shops wasn’t all that keen to have Joplin native Jamie McMurray driving their Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Boat No. 1 Chevrolet.
