Despite a year of questionable decisions, price changes and customer contention, Los Gatos, Calif.-based Netflix Inc. ended its fiscal year 44 percent stronger in earnings, while holding its subscriber base solid.

GO is soon to be gone

Whitaker Publishing, publishers of 417 Magazine and its many brethren including 417 Bride, 417 Home and GO Magazine, announced today that GO is publishing its last print edition Dec. 9.

Recession killed the watchdog

Newspapers are falling into a coma in the political domes where so many decisions are made affecting business conducted in our states. Recent events have made this clear to me, and someone needs to remind papers about the business conducted in our state capitols.
