Gov. Nixon Tours EMSI Office in Springfield

Matt Wagner, SBJ ReporterAt a stop today in Springfield, Gov. Jay Nixon said green-building consulting firm EMSI Inc. represents the type of “next-generation jobs” Missouri needs, although the governor was unable to name any area businesses that would likely benefit from his Show-Me Jobs Initiative.

Springfield law firm Strong on political spending

Eric Olson, SBJ EditorThe state’s chamber is reporting that Springfield trial law firm Strong-Garner-Bauer PC is No. 3 on a list of 15 law firms that donated $2.4 million combined to statewide political campaigns from 2005–08.
